The Stig

You could be forgiven for thinking The Stig flies to overseas Top Gear Live events, but you’d be wrong. He doesn’t have a passport! Official secrecy prevents us from revealing exactly how he’ll get to Perth, but we’re permitted to narrow it down to three theories to give you a sense of how complex it is to ship a Stig abroad:

[a] He is fast-frozen to exactly -26 degrees Celsius and packed in ice in a polystyrene crate – like north Atlantic cod – and then defrosted in a man-sized microwave oven on arrival.

[b] He is converted into a high quality digital image and stored on a laptop until the technical boys get to the hotel. They then resize him in Photoshop and he’s ready to go.

[c] He swims there...but only when it’s dark.
